MPH CUFFLINKS

MPH cufflinks
Vintage gold overlay cufflinks, engraved with MPH monogram. The overlay technique was developed by the founder of Krementz & Co., George Krementz, a German immigrant who started the company in Newark, New Jersey in 1866. Krementz, which began by making buttons for detachable mens collars, grew to be the largest manufacturer of karat gold jewelry, at a time when half of all worldwide production was coming out of Newark.
5/8" across: 1.7cm
Cufflinks show a little wear, but overall are in good vintage condition.
