An open-ended neck adornment that can be worn in a variety of ways. The piece is made from a repurposed strand of braided seed beads. The ends are secured with waxed cotton cord, onto which tassels hang from sterling silver rings. Ethiopian brass and copper beads are complemented by those made of sterling and glass. Mollie Dash is the co-owner of Everbrite Mercantile Co. She crafts her jewelry from vintage parts in combination with new materials. The various elements are connected with her hand made wire work. Mollie began making jewelry as a side hobby while studying painting and printmaking at Virginia Commonwealth University. She further honed her skills while working at Ritual Adornments in Santa Monica, California, and studying metalsmithing at Santa Monica College. She has been selling her work at stores across the country ever since.
