Vilkas D'Angelo-Horvath is my best friend and the genius behind Hexy. We met in a beginning printmaking class at VCU and I was immediately taken by her no-nonsense personality. That and her k-mart smock complete with name badge that wasn't ironic because she really did work there. Willie crafts her sweet brooches from vintage pin blanks and beads, hand wrapped with copper and brass wire.
